This is a view of one of the Mattapan to Ashmont trolleys from inside one of the other ones. This trolley line is at the end of the MBTA Red Line (not a typo, actually) and runs from Ashmont Station in Dorchester, through part of Milton and back into Boston's Mattapan neighborhood. This curve is in the middle of Cedar Grove Cemetery, the transit through which makes this trolley line historic! The original is long gone, but I'm happy to offer this image as a giclée.

What is a giclée? It's pronounced "zhee-clay".   It's a french noun meaning 'the spray from a jet or nozzle'.  Giclée printing was invented in the late 1980's as a new method to reproduce fine artwork. It has greater resolution than traditional lithography and utilizes high quality, fade-resistant pigment-based inks and can print a variety of surfaces including canvas. Common home printers use use dye-based inks not suitable for archival reproductions. The print shop I use employs a 12 color CMYK printer for stunning reproductions. I myself have been fooled as to which was my original and which was the print!

My giclées are printed on 100% cotton rag-based acid-free paper using long lasting archival inks, producing museum quality prints. Each  one has a one inch border to allow for proper hanging in a  mat and frame of your choice.
